Hear from Wes

A short introduction to the coaching approach.

The problem

The structure disappeared.
Your expectations didn’t.

The military gave you a schedule, standards, physical requirements, and people who noticed when you stopped showing up.

Civilian life doesn’t.

Careers get demanding. Training becomes inconsistent. Nutrition turns reactive. Ten pounds becomes twenty. And eventually the person in the mirror stops matching the standard you still carry in your head.

Structure. Standards. Accountability.

Built for the life
you have now.

You don’t need your old life back. You need a way to train, eat, and recover that holds up in this one.

Strong. Lean. Consistent. Able to travel, work, and live without starting over every time the week goes sideways.

1:1 coaching

Not a template.
Not another fitness app.

The difference is not another set of instructions. It is a coach who understands your situation, reviews the evidence, and helps you adjust.

Military training group observing two service members during a grappling drill.
Individual programming. Direct feedback. A plan that responds to you.

Personalized training

Programming built around your training history, goals, equipment, and schedule.

Nutrition structure

Protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets — calories follow from those — and habits you can actually sustain.

Daily progress tracking

Log training, nutrition, and recovery so decisions are based on data.

Direct coaching

Straightforward feedback on what's working, what isn't, and what to do about it.

Regular reviews

Scheduled check-ins to assess progress and adjust the plan.

Scheduled coaching calls

Time on the calendar to talk through training, nutrition, and what's getting in the way.

The FROMM FORM System

A clear standard. A practical method.

01

Assess

Know where you actually are.

Training history, current performance, body composition goals, nutrition, schedule, limitations, equipment, and constraints.

02

Build

Create the system around your life.

Your training and nutrition are built around what you can realistically execute—not the fantasy week where nothing goes wrong.

03

Execute

Do the work. Track what matters.

Train. Hit your targets. Log progress. Build consistency without making fitness your entire personality.

04

Adjust

Respond to reality.

Your plan changes based on your results, adherence, recovery, schedule, and feedback—not arbitrary calendar dates.

The experience behind the coaching

01 Where it started

I had to build
that standard, too.

While working for Disney, I had to rebuild my fitness for Marine officer selection. As a skinny-fat candidate, I started with roughly a ten-minute mile and a couple of pull-ups.

Preparation and shared understanding

02 What carried forward

A clear standard.
A human decision.

That experience carried into service as a Marine Corps officer, later an Army officer, and then a corporate career. The setting changed. The value of preparation and clear standards didn’t.

I don’t think you need
more motivation.

Leading and teaching people taught me to start with the person, not just the standard. Today, that means your goals, your training history, and the time and equipment you actually have.

When a week goes off plan, I want to understand why—not just see a missed workout. Your feedback matters alongside the numbers.

You should leave a review knowing what to keep doing, what needs to change, and why.

The objective isn’t to make fitness consume your life. It’s to make being fit part of who you are again.

What coaching actually feels like

Training / Nutrition / Accountability

01 / Training

Train like someone
who plans to keep
doing this.

Training should make you stronger, more capable, and harder to break.

Your program is built around progressive resistance training, your current ability, the equipment you have access to, and the time you can actually commit.

No random workouts. No punishment sessions. No novelty for novelty’s sake.

Full-body current-day training portrait, with the whole figure visible from head to shoes.
Strength. Capability. Consistency.

02 / Nutrition

Food should support
your life.
Not take it over.

You don’t need a perfect meal plan.

You need clear protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets, a handful of reliable behaviors, and enough flexibility to eat dinner with your family or travel for work without turning one meal into a four-day collapse.

The goal is control—not obsession.

Group training discussion with the coach and participants fully visible, with no text covering the interaction.
Direct feedback. Course correction. Personal responsibility.

03 / Accountability

Support without
hand-holding.

You’re responsible for doing the work.

My job is to make sure you know what work matters, see when execution is slipping, identify why, and help you correct course before three bad days become three bad months.

Fit check

This will work
for you if—

Probably not for you if—You’re looking for a 30-day challenge, crash diet, six-week transformation guarantee, or someone to yell at you until you exercise.

  1. 01You used to train consistently and want that part of yourself back.
  2. 02You care about strength and how you look, not just a number on a scale.
  3. 03You're willing to track enough information to make intelligent decisions.
  4. 04You want direct feedback rather than endless motivation.
  5. 05You want fitness to support your life—not become your life.

FAQ

Questions worth
answering up front.

Do I need to be former military?

No. Fromm Form is built around a mindset more than a DD-214. If you value structure, accountability, strength, and high personal standards, you may still be a good fit.

Do I need access to a full gym?

No. Your program is built around the equipment you actually have available. A commercial gym gives us more options, but it isn't required.

Is this bodybuilding?

Not exactly. Looking strong matters, but so do performance, durability, health, and being able to maintain the result.

Do you provide a meal plan?

The emphasis is on protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets — with calories derived from those — plus habits and a sustainable nutrition structure, rather than prescribing every meal you eat.

How often do we communicate?

You'll have regular check-ins, access to coaching between reviews, and scheduled coaching calls based on your program.

What happens if I travel?

We adapt. A plan that only works during perfect weeks isn't much of a plan.

I'm badly out of shape. Do I need to get fit before starting?

No. That's exactly the kind of situation the assessment and individualized programming are designed for.

How much does coaching cost?

Pricing is discussed after we talk, based on the coaching structure and commitment.
